Scottsbluff Wedding

So please, click on the photos to enlarge them.

I spent the day with two very awesome people and many of their very awesome family and friends October 10th. I have known almost everyone in the wedding party for years. It's a small area and pretty much everyone went to school together. I was so pumped when they hired us last year and I couldn't wait for the wedding and to get some sweet images.

The bride and groom are some of the most laid back people I know. You can tell how true and full of love their relationship is just by the way they talk with each other. The maid of honor said it best during her toast, that the bride hasn't changed and groom hasn't tried to change her. They are true to each other.

And man was it a party! Everything went smooth except for the damn snow!

When I showed up everyone was pretty much ready to go.

I felt so good about the images when all of the ladies braved the 30 degree temps for photos. The light was great along this hallway.

So was the bride:

Together:

Check em out rocking it!

The party started early. The guys snuffed out the drinks from the brides father's truck.

So this sequence will be a story to remember. Can you spot the cone?

Plus, this goes to show I prefer to shoot, then ask later. Kind of my philosophy :). We were in the street while a police officer happen to stop by. He wanted to pick up the cone, but also let us know it was a safety hazard to be in the street. Bummer.

Fast forward. You could literally feel how her father was feeling walking down the isle.

Talk about a big rock. The mother of the bride was the priest at the church. So she had a special sermon to the bride and groom and incorporated the rings. It was so true and touching.

And were married!

We made a quick stop at Monument Shadows DURING the snow. But they made for some great images.

They had bobble heads for their cake topper. Nice!

They also had a live band. In fact, it was one of the groomsman's band.

Their first dance as husband and wife.

Such an awesome day. Im so thankful I was able to captured their wedding day. Congrats guys!
