August 21, 2010 - Scottsbluff Nebraska

*****Click a photo to enlarge*****

August was full of Saturday bliss! I cant describe how fortunate we are to have the job we do. Our clients are absolutely the best, and this wedding was no different. The ceremony was at St. Agnes in Scottsbluff and the reception was held at one of my favorite venues, the Civic Center.

Totally digging the black shoes.

The bride and groom seeing each other for the first time. So in love with each other.

Hello!

Wow they look so good together.

I live for moments like this. The father of the bride looks so proud.

St. Agnes is such a large church. Not only does it have some awesome lighting in the front, but the architecture also makes for good photos.

Moving onto the reception. Before the partying could get underway, the bride and her father had to have a dance.

And of course, the first dance as husband and wife. Notice the tear rolling down her cheek.

They headed back to Texas after the wedding. And wow, sorry for me taking so long to get these posted. We have another wedding coming up October 2. I promise it will not be as long.

August 14th Wedding

I know, we usually share wedding photos less than a week after the bride and groom tie the knot. It took me to share everything else. Had the photos ready, just needed to get some seniors in.

And this wedding was spectacular! The groom is a Gering Alum and we both went to school together. Again, I love showing up to weddings knowing several people. I get to catch up, talk with old friends, and just enjoy the day with two people that love each other so much. And the bride's family are local. It's interesting... her sister also married someone from Gering, even though they were not from here.

The ceremony was at Christ the King while the partay was at the Civic Center.
Such a beautiful day for a wedding.

Normally do not post names, but I like this shot.

Everyone got ready downstairs. Another fav.

You could palpate the anticipation in the room when they first saw each other.

Smiles all around.

Love the hair style, dress, heck what else can I say other than gorgeous!

Together.

Did I mention the flowers and hair were perfect?

Hello ladies!

Another great capture. Looks like her father is trying to tell him something. Wonder what he said ;)?

During the ceremony. I want to make a note that the groom was not crying. He had something on his cheek.

After the ceremony, while the guests were having fun during cocktail hour, the wedding party headed up to snap a few by the monument.

Man I love cake! And the decor was awesome.

First dance as husband and wife.

3 Seniors

Sharing a few more seniors today. And we are still scheduling senior sessions. Heck, I am so far behind I haven't even started going through the rest of the seniors.

Ken captured some awesome shots that really show off what these kids are about.

Recent Engagement

I had the chance to photograph an awesome couple a few weeks back. The bride to be is actually the sister of a bride I photographed a while ago. So we were pretty familiar with how each other work with the camera.

The wedding is going to be fun too, even though it will be in November. The best part is I am familiar with the family and I get a chance to talk with everyone again. Not to mention the couple is easy to photograph :).

We are back

We have been having some technical issues but I think we have it taken care of. I have also been out of the studio working on a few other projects. We are back on track now!

Today is Saturday.... GO BIG RED! Im so excited to have football back. I have been waiting for the Huskers to take the field again and dominate. This past week the schedule for the following two years came out, which will be the first year the Huskers join the Big 10. WOW, talk about a tough schedule. I think its good.... throw us up against the big dogs in the Big 10 right away. Lets get that over with. Your thoughts?

And wedding photos! Yes... I wanted to share a few images we captured a few weeks back. Her bouquet was pretty sweet. And the dress was also stunning.

The love in the air was palpable!

Hey ladies.

One of my favorites. Their son was the ring bearer and he had nothing but smiles walking down the isle.

I love cake.

First dance as husband and wife.

We have so many photos to share! Check back Tuesday for some sweet Senior images.
