July 16, 2011 - Kimball Nebraska
Another fantastic wedding with great people! We are so fortunate to have such wonderful clients that share our approach to photography. We began shooting later in the afternoon and had such a fun time after the ceremony. And man, I happen to leave back to Gering at the right time. A huge supercell crossed right over Kimball. Luckily nobody was injured :).

After the ceremony we made a quick stop at the local pub for some R&R. Right across the street there was a little park. And the light was starting to get really good:

Lets move on and have some cake shall we?
The groom's family, out of nowhere, jumped up and performed a sweet little number that resembled Mama Mia!
And finally, the first dance as husband and wife:
Another great wedding! I am free for a few weekends now. Going to focus on fine tuning our wedding line and working on some senior photos! Have a great weekend everyone!

June 9, 2011 - Barn A New - Mitchell Nebraska

I do not know where to begin on this one! For being my first wedding on the year (weird I know!), this one was EPIC! I was seriously looking to get back into the scene and I was so excited. This bride and groom are the coolest, strongest, most awesomeness couple I know! We had so much fun, my sides were hurting from laughing with their wedding party. You might remember them from their engagement session a while back. Plus, this wedding was held at one of my most favorite places to photograph. So much amazing light with so many different places to shoot. See what I mean?
You know, I always say you can always plan something. But you can never plan the outcome. Its true with weddings. You can plan your day down to the last minute, but sometimes the outcome is a little different than what you originally planned. And I think this is why I love photographing weddings. We roll with the moments and capture things how they unfold. And Saturday was no different.
I give so much props to the bride! Unfortunately she started off the day sick! I felt terrible. Luckily we were able to capture some pre wedding photos and some really great moments. I felt so happy for her once she started feeling better. Right before the ceremony too! AWESOME!
I was able to capture some details before the ceremony. The flowers were unbelievable:
Same goes for everything else:
The ladies wore black dresses with sweet pink shoes:

And the dress too!
Was able to capture this right after she put on her vail:
Probably the cutest flower girl I know:
The excitement to see each other for the first time was palpable:
Simply beautiful!

Moments before walking down the isle. They happen to step out in some harsh light, but I absolutely love the facial expression of the bride and father:

These twins were 11 months old. And made superb ring bearers:

The bride was feeling much better. So we took a road trip in the limo to have some fun:
The wedding party that rocked my world:
I wasn't able to capture much before the ceremony, so I grabbed the bride and groom for a few shots during the reception:
Cake anyone?
O.M.G! I am not saying the toasts were a competition, but the best, which also happen to be the twin brother of the groom, threw down one of the BEST toast I have seen! He put together a bad to the bone rap song. Head on over to our Facebook to check out a quick video.
