Children Session

We are updating our Facebook Page more and more these days. If you subscribe to the blog, head on over to our Facebook and check out our updates.

Another awesome morning. Had a session with familiar faces again. Man how I love that! I am so blessed to have met such a wonderful couple that has now expanded their family. We had to take some photos of the little one again this morning. The final plan is to create a fantastic storyboard of his first year.


This time around, since it was negative 10 outside and snow all over, we had to shoot outdoors in some nice light.


Of course, wanted to incorporate everyone in photos. And we had to hit up that swing. See if he liked it.

And you know, we have to try something new every session. And chances are the kids do not like it. As below.

Engagement Session last week

Thought about heading to the Wildcats for another awesome shoot, but the future groom recommended another place and this image just popped into my mind:

Actually, this is Amanda and her fiance! Amanda is the newest member of our team. She joined us super part time last year. And has been kicking butt with us during the week this year. So say hi if you see her behind the camera.

Their wedding is later on this year. And I am excited to be photographing it. They had no problem in front of the camera during the test run. They walked up to the creek, and I shot this from the hip while moving my lens bag. Awesome:

Such an awesome place! Well, with the exception of the 3 ticks I pulled off me afterwards :). Anything for a sweet spot.

Easter Sessions wrap up

I had so much fun photographing all of the little kids that came in the past few Saturdays for our Easter Sessions. I'm telling ya, I think this might be a yearly thing. We have never offered mini sessions that had a theme to it. But after the response we got, and of course all of the fun we had, I really had a blast!

Forgot to post photos

During my escapades and negligence of this blog, I forgot to add a few photos from past sittings. And how could I not post these photos!


These awesome guys are currently living in Lincoln going through school. They came down last year and spent a few hours with us. Im pretty excited about the wedding this summer.

We spent some time along Gering's Main Street, then headed right out of town next to the Monument.

They wanted to try a few different things. Which is kind of up my alley ;).

Had a really great time and looking forward to the wedding. These guys look so awesome together and I know we will capture some impressive images :).

Senior on Friday!

TGIF! We have been seeing a trend the past few years. More and more Graduates are having their Senior photos taken later in the year. Awesome for you guys, because we get to share more seniors in March :).

The bummer part though is the weather has been unpredictable. And when this senior was photographed it was cold and dark.

And another positive from neglecting this blog. I have several photos in queue that I didn't share. Next week we will post them.
