2 Seniors - 1 Engagement

A slow week for seniors. We had two come in for split sessions. The fall colors are still around!



We will be photographing this couple's wedding next year. She wanted her engagement photos taken around sunset. Usually sunsets aren't that great in October/November (even thought the sunrises are spectacular!) but we captured some great shots with nice colors:

Last Friday's wedding

Last Friday Ken spent most of the evening at the Gering Zion Church. He photographed a couple thats not a stranger to Spectrum Photographics. We photographed the sister of the bride's wedding 2 years ago, and they had their family photos done last year.

More Seniors :)

We photographed a few other seniors that split their sessions again this week. Talk about being cold outside! We had to reschedule some outdoor sessions for later because of the immense wind and temps being low. On a happy note, it should make for some killer football tonight :)

To place your senior portrait order, call Jeanne at the studio to set up an appointment. We are so busy this time of year and scheduling your appointment will allow us enough time to go over everything.

Dont forget retakes are tomorrow from 11 to 2. If you need to have your childs photo taken bring him/her in then. No appointment needed for these times.

True innocence

Photos like this make a great gift. We have switched towards Family photos and have had great success :).

We photographed a wedding a few years ago, and the couple visited again us when they had twins! Congrats to Rick and Jamie! Having two wonderful boys are a gift and they couldn't be any sweeter. Since I personally haven't photographed twin infants, we are scheduled for another sitting Friday; I want to get as many shots of them :). Not to mention they decided it was time to eat...

TO back?!?

Just heard the news that Husker Nation has brought back Tom Osborne as interim A.D. WOW!!! I have tons of feelings about the way our season has been, but its glad to hear Osborne is back and is not changing things... for now.

Other news, we have updated the GHS gallery to include homecoming photos. For all Spectrum seniors, we are offering a 50% discount for this gallery only! If you had your photos taken with Spectrum, please email nate@spectrumphoto.com to receive the discount code and/or the password.

Retake day is set for Saturday October 20th from 11:00 to 2:00 pm. Please bring your child in during those hours to be photographed. More to post about tomorrow (including the saturdays sittings).

Fall colors

Now is the time to book your session if you want the beauty of fall in the background. It is getting colder and I am not sure how much longer the leaves can handle the wind and cold. Dont you love this time of year?

We had a few returning seniors this past week. They were splitting up their sitting and we were able to fit them in. Below are some new faces we all haven't seen.






Everyone have a great weekend! Ogalalla is coming to town to battle the Bulldogs on the field. Be sure to wear something warm if you plan on attending the game! I will see you there :).
